OPTION 1
If this option is chosen, BIT-ON takes care of the operation of the LIVE-systems.
The hosting and the processing of the data runs on the hardware/software environment. The clients have access
to the infrastructure via a secure VPN connection. The major advantage is that no investments in hardware/software
or database licences are needed. Also no own service and backup activity are necessary. It is no problem to change
from option 1 to option 2 at any time.

This option is recommended for airlines which have their own high availibility infrastructure
and wish to integrate LIVE in their IT structure. This can be an advantage if internal interfaces have to be set up
with external systems. Here BIT-ON supports the building up of the database and the application servers. LIVE server
and LIVE client are provided in object code on licence basis. The system runs at the user’s own responsibility and
can also be supported by BIT-ON while operations are running.
